Now is a great time to for APWA professionals to take advantage of the educational webinars about Envision, a framework that encourages systemic changes in the planning, design and delivery of sustainable and resilient infrastructure through education, training, and third-party project verification. The APWA, ASCE and ACEC collaborated with the Zofnass Program for Sustainable Infrastructure at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design to develop Envision. The Maryland Association for Environmental & Outdoor Education (MAEOE) encourages, engages and empowers communities to understand, responsibly use and promote the natural world. Their Resource Library has information and training to support Environmental Literacy and Schoolyard Projects including home-based environmental education resources for teachers, parents and guardians.
