City Engineer

Starting Salary: Commensurate with experience

FLSA: Exempt

The City of Milford is seeking a City Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in professional engineering. Under the general supervision of the Public Works Director, the City Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, and construction of a variety of engineering projects for the City, along with the supervision of the City’s water and waste water operations.

To succeed in this position, the candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering with course work in civil engineering. A comparable amount of

training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.

Possession and retention of a valid Delaware vehicle operator’s license is required. Must have the ability to obtain Delaware Professional Engineer License within 6 months of hire and Delaware Water Operator License within 12 months of hire.
