ROADEO Registration

Tuesday May 2, 2023

Representatives from Public Works Departments across the Mid-Atlantic states will compete on the snowplow, backhoe, front-end loader, automated refuse truck, knuckle boom, street sweeper, and line truck. Come out and show off your skills, while engaging in a friendly competition with fellow equipment operators. 

The Equipment “Roadeo” will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Hampton Roads Convention Center – RAIN or SHINE. Check-in is from 7:00 - 8:00 am, and the event will start at 8:00 am.

NEW FOR 2023: The Roadeo is on Tuesday (not Wednesday)!

There will also be new equipment on display, lunch, the opening of the indoor exhibit hall with engagement activities, and a ROADEO Award Ceremony.

Friends and family are welcome to attend as spectators for free.

We are offering a reduced registration to attend the full conference to all ROADEO participants ($250 for members or $300 for non-members).

• Cost: $65 per person to compete

• Check in:  7:00 am - 8:00 am
• Official Start:  8:00 am
• Required Documents: Signed ROADEO Release form per participant; valid Class B CDL license MUST be presented at check-in. 
• Health and Safety:  Bucket Truck participants are required to supply their own full body harness, meeting electrical standards.
• Lunch: Registration comes with one free lunch ticket. Additional lunch tickets can be purchased for $20.00 each and picked up at the ROADEO check-in table.

ROADEO registration will include:

• One t-shirt with ROADEO logo - Select your shirt size during registration. 
• A single lunch ticket.
• Free entry to the Tuesday (May 2) Exhibit Hall and Exhibit Hall Social
• Reduced price registration to attend the full conference. 

Cancellations must be received in writing by April 18, 2023. No refunds after April 18, 2023. Refunds will not be given for absent registered contestants.
