Event sponsorship is available for $150 each and entitles each sponsor to one registration and one event connection where PDHs will be provided to total of three (3) participants per sponsoring agency/firm, per connection. The sponsor registration must contain the names and emails of the attendees seeking PDHs. Company logo will be displayed at event and on the event registration page located on the Chapter website. This Virtual Webinar brings together people and skills across organizations to begin to examine succession and staffing needs, as well as address workforce assessment training challenges.

11:45 am – LUNCH BREAK

12:30 pm - Practitioners Panel - Insights into addressing career ladder pathways; employee retention linked with salary survey; skill level and training; Linkage with Succession Management and Workforce Development

1:40 pm - Succession Management and Workforce Needs Assessment – breakout group

exercise groups will be randomly assembled virtually. Materials will be sent to participants in advance of the event, for use with the breakout groups. Instructions will also be provided in advance to registered participants.

  • Breakout group exercise –Random groups will be assembled virtually to use selected portions from the Succession Planning Toolkit, courtesy of University of Washington. Each group will use Toolkit worksheets selected based on 5-steps:
    • Step 1 - Identify significant challenges
    • Step 2 – Identify critical positions
    • Step 3 – Identify competencies, skills and institutional knowledge
    • Step 4 – Consider qualified and interested employees
    • Step 5 -Select the competencies individuals need to be successful in positions and to meet identified business challenges
