Description :Due to the current status with COVID-19, the Mid-Atlantic APWA Chapter cancelled the 2020 Mid-Atlantic WRX Conference. The 2021 Mid-Atlantic WRX Conference will be scheduled for next May 11-14, 2021 in Virginia Beach. WRX Attendee Registration Please join us for the annual APWA WRX conference at the Virginia Beach Convention Center in sunny and beautiful VIRGINIA BEACH where the Chesapeake Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. Your conference experience will be packed with many fun and exciting activities including: cheering on the Public Works crews as they show their expertise at the equipment ROADEO; touring the new Virginia Beach Sports Center that will open this fall; taking a behind the scenes tour of the Virginia Aquarium; visiting the nation’s first Public Works project, the Cape Henry Light House; and feel the sand between your toes during our Thursday evening Beachside Reception at the conference hotel, the new Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Come be a part of this year’s exciting and educational APWA WRX! This year’s APWA WRX conference will be at the Virginia Beach Convention Center located at 1000 19th Street, just a short ride from the oceanfront. Lodging will be at the beautiful and newly opened Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront, 4201 Atlantic Avenue. Lodging is separate and not included with your conference registration.
